In this beginner & intermediate class we focus on functional and dynamic lifting movements, beginning with our bodyweight to focus on balance and stability, and moving up to strength and conditioning with weights. We will be aware of each individual’s form and focus on progressive overloads. This will help to build toned muscle, to help manage weight loss and gain strength and all while accessing our specific range of motion.
We require you to bring your own yoga mat. Our programs are constantly changing to the needs and goals of the current members in class.

Taught by Caitlin Wilson (Athena), we invite all women; who are suffering from back pain, incontinence, poor posture, etc., and women who are looking to strengthen their core, pelvic floor and gain strength altogether. She also encourages all Mommies and Mommies-To-Be to check it out, meet other mommies, and network; all while gaining strength, balance and knowledge. Each class is organized by trimester and/ or experience. In each of these classes, every movement has a purpose. Caitlin’s intimate class shows you how to safely move in the beautiful, ever -changing prenatal and postpartum body. As women, we are meant to keep changing, and it’s important to adapt accordingly. While baby is growing inside to her/his heaviest; mommy is at her strongest. Caitlin will go over useful breathing techniques and core and pelvic floor stability. She also has designed a LIIT ( Labor Intensive Interval Training) class for the second and third trimester, as well as exercises that correlate with everyday movements (including bending, kneeling, sitting, standing up, reaching, carrying, etc). She caters to all skill levels/injuries and by trimester. These exercises benefit women who are pregnant and who are cleared to start exercising postpartum. Further, these beneficial techniques taught are for women to take with them in everyday life and are for every stage of a woman’s life.

Fit By Athena Fitness camp is one of the best ways to navigate your way to a healthy body and mind. Unique techniques build a strong body from which one can transition into more advanced stages, including a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a range of difficulties, from beginner to advanced. Discover or rediscover your breath, core strength and pelvic floor while using fundamental to advanced mixed body weight and weight exercises. Learn how to safely manipulate your body, while gaining strength and knowledge.

Dharma Yoga is a modern interpretation of classical Eight-limbed or Hatha-Raja Yoga, deeply rooted in ethical precepts that includes elements of flowing Vinyasa, inversions and held poses that will help you to discover concentration, meditation, abiding contentedness and deep healing relaxation. Breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditative techniques regulate the heartbeat, de-stress the nervous system and calm the mind.
A complete practice that will lead to radiant health, a peaceful life and, eventually self-realization. Dharma Yoga is traditional, yet contemporary — perfect for the fast-paced world of today.
